Bristol, South West
Based in Bristol, Louise Leigh works as a comedian on the local and national comedy circuits and she’s a Funny Women Stage Award semi-finalist and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year finalist. Louise has a passion for getting more gender diversity into the grassroots of comedy. ‘As a pro comic, I’m often the only person on the lineup who isn’t a cis man. There are lots of reasons for that, but I truly believe events like The Glitter Project can have a really profound effect on a local scene, which feeds into the wider circuit.’
