Join Funny Women for a Mentoring Meetup as part of The Glitter Project – A Safe Place supported by funds raised from The Glitter Challenge.
Join us for some informal networking, fun and games, plus first-hand advice from visiting experts who’ve all ‘been there, done that’ in some capacity. We all know how challenging it can be to embark on a new interest and potential career, so these events are designed to take out the overwhelm and connect you with other likeminded female and non-binary comedy performers, writers and creators.
Funny Women develops new comedy talent at grassroots with Awards, workshops, courses and open mic events to build confidence in female and non-binary performers, writers and creators. The Glitter Project has been created as an enduring legacy with Jo Fletcher-Cross, a non-executive director of Funny Women and comedian.
This takes place in The Big Difference, a independent venue in Leicester, under the direction of regional producers Kelly Griffiths and Rachel Baker.
This event is free to attend but we welcome donations to support our outreach work with The Glitter Project.
