Mad Cows writer Kathy Lette has decided to step out from behind the desk and step onto the stage. The hilarious Australian novelist will be taking her show Girls Night Out on the road where she will share intimate details of her life. And we don’t think Kathy Lette is one to hold back!

Girls Night Out is described as a psychological striptease taking us from puberty blues to menopause blues, with tales of love, lust, men, marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, mastitis, sexist bosses, teenage-daughter-wrangling, ageing, toy boys, making the Queen laugh, hiding Julian Assange in her attic, and close encounters of the George Clooney kind en route!

Kathy will also talk about her son Jules, who is on the autistic spectrum – from the time he came home from school with a sign saying “Kick me I’m a retard” taped to his back to his success playing Jason in Holby City.

Kathy kicks off her tour at the Ropetackle Centre in Shoreham-by-sea on Tuesday 4th July. For tickets and more information click here!

I’ve watched them take the comedy world by storm and some of my observations may help you to continue their legacy.
