So, for all those of you thinking about entering this year's Funny Women Awards but not yet registered, what's stopping you?  We are getting fantastic feedback from those of you who've already taken part - please keep it coming because it's great to know that we've got it right.  Also this article in the Telegraph by Sarah Rainey describes one of our heats in detail and captures the spirit.  She also interviews some working comics  READ HERE.

Everything you need to know is HERE.  We'll support and encourage you and you'll get some gorgeous Benefit Cosmetics goodies as a bonus for taking part this year!  Rumour has it that we'll be handing out a few samples of Blue Nun minis too.  Who doesn't like a freebee!  Next stop is the Scottish Heat in Edinburgh this Thursday 17th May and there's still some places left. We really want to see you if you live in Scotland!

On a more serious note we're supporting Women's Aid as our ongoing Charity Partner of the year - we'll soon be announcing how you can help us raise funds and awareness for this amazing charity that works to end domestic violence against women and children. We'll be launching a very special campaign to find our Real Funny Women Award winner with some brilliant new partners.  Watch this space to find out how you can take part.

And for those too nervous to perform, or still brimming with ideas having already taken part, why not write something funny? The Funny Women Comedy Writing Award  provides a wonderful platform for getting your work noticed by some impressive industry judges. If you have already entered as a performer, you don' t have to register again.  If you just want to enter for the Writing Award, that's fine with us.  Follow the REGISTRATION log in for all details and we'll be in touch to let you know what we need next.
