Women in comedy were triumphant at last night’s Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Awards. Mae Martin and their Feel Good co-writer Joe Hampson, Olga Koch, and the Drunk Women Solving Crime presenters all took home awards.

Martin’s Netflix show Feel Good won the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Award for best TV situation comedy, which was presented by Helen Lederer.

Lederer was also on hand to present Hannah George, Taylor Glenn, and Catie Wilkins, who are perhaps best known for presenting their hit podcast Drunk Women Solving Crime, with the best online comedy accolade for Remember Getting the Period Talk at School #Menopause,

Best radio comedy award went to Olga Koch and Charlie Dinkin for BBC Radio 4’s Olga Koch: Fight.

Writers Guild president Sandi Toksvig said: “We couldn’t hold the awards last year, so it has been even more special to be able to celebrate these wonderful people tonight. They have kept us entertained and allowed us to escape into the marvellous stories and worlds they have created for us, which we have needed more than ever after another challenging year.”
