About Funny Women
We are committed to promoting gender equality in comedy and empowering women to pursue comedic dreams. By attending our event, you become part of a movement that aims to break down barriers and redefine the comedy landscape.
Funny Women was founded in 2002 with the aim of helping women to perform, write and create comedy. It is at the vanguard of nurturing and promoting female comedy talent by finding and developing new acts through its annual competition, the Funny Women Awards.
UK-based, Funny Women Open Mic events are held in various cities like London, Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, and Montreal. And now Funny Women Rotterdam aims to entertain local audiences with a diverse and dynamic lineup featuring the newest and most exciting acts from the Netherlands and beyond.
