Want to review your material and performance style?
Performing stand up comedy for the first time or taking part in a competition (did we mention that the 2019 Funny Women Awards are opening for registration on Monday 8th April)?!
Need to up your public speaking game with some humour?
Then this workshop needs YOU!
This friendly two-hour workshop will be run by our founder, Lynne Parker, and is designed for those of you who want a ‘reboot’ in terms of revisiting and refining your material plus it’s still a great introductory session for comedy virgins. The added extra is that we’ll have improvisational specialist and actress Jenny Bolt on hand to introduce you to some additional stage craft to help with your performance and delivery.
We’ve been running our Stand Up to Stand Out workshops for over 10 years and witnessed the genesis of many comedy careers as seen in our Funny Women Awards. We’ve also helped hundreds of women to gain the confidence to perform on stage or in the boardroom.
Together Lynne and Jenny will work on building up your confidence to perform, developing your personal performance style and helping you to create new material. For those of you who already have some stage time behind you, as comedians or speakers, this is an opportunity to get some expert feedback and advice on how you can up your game.
As with all our workshops, we aim to build your self-confidence and enhance your communications skills, important both personally and professionally.
