You won’t just watch the action; you can volunteer to become part of it as performers from different disciplines compete in hilarious games. \n  \nPart 1: Open Mic Comedians doing their thing. You’ll get a mix of experienced comedians and new voices. It’s less about polished\, perfect sets and more about creating space for people to try new things. \nPart 2: Games After the break\, the chaos begins. Performers and audience volunteers take on bizarre tasks. Think hilarious challenges\, props\, quick thinking\, and crowd involvement. \n  \nSince 2019\, Funny Women Amsterdam has been a home for women\, trans women\, and non-binary comedians. We’re a platform dedicated to giving these voices space and support in comedy. We break down barriers\, nurture new talent\, and create opportunities that don’t always exist elsewhere. Here is the sensational\, hand-picked line up she’s put together for this special Comedy Festival edition: \nMeet your MC for the evening… \nAli Jay\n“As with any comedy night\, anything can happen depending on who is in the audience at the time\, so of course you need a vibrant and strong compere. We got this in spades with Ali Jay\, who led the whole event in a way that brought a warm and engaging approach to the proceedings\, whilst playfully bantering with the audience” Theatre in Brighton 2026 \nA diverse line up featuring… \nSapphire McIntosh\nAs seen on Channel 4 and BBC One\, Sapphire McIntosh is a football playing\, vox-popping\, observational\, high energy comedian\, actor and writer.  She was a finalist in the hugely respected Leicester Comedy Festival ‘Comedian of the Year’ Awards in 2026.  This was followed by a turn at the Soho Theatre as part of the all-female sketch sensation ‘Gobby Girls’. \n  \nStefania Licari\nAward-winning Stefania Licari\, expat and medic-turned-comic Stefania’s solo show I Can Make You Italian in 55 Minutes! was a sell-out success at Brighton Fringe\, Adelaide Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe in 2025. \nHannah Brackenbury\nHannah Brackenbury is a comedy songwriter and performer. Co-founder of Funny Girls and producer of Out to Sea comedy in Worthing. Winner of ‘Best Show’ at the Funny Women Awards 2019 and the Broadway Baby Bobby Award at Brighton Fringe 2018 for Victorious\, a joyful and poignant musical tribute to the late\, great Victoria Wood. \n  \n“Funny Women had the right ingredients for an inclusive and entertaining evening that provided a safe space for those who needed to express themselves freely\, whether on stage or in the audience.
