(but if you don’t want to join in\, that’s also fine) \nWhat to Expect on the Night\nThis show is divided into two halves designed for maximum fun and variety: \n \nPart 1: Open Mic Comedy\nThe evening kicks off with pure stand-up comedy. Our open mic is the perfect opportunity to experience the thrill of live comedy\, discover emerging talents\, and support a movement dedicated to equal representation on the comedy stage. \nPart 2: The Games Night\nAfter the break\, the focus shifts to our performers and audience volunteers tackling bizarre\, host-led tasks. Watch comedy stars compete in hilarious challenges using strange props and quick wits! \nAbout Funny Women Amsterdam\nSince 2019\, Funny Women Amsterdam has been a home for diverse and dynamic voices in comedy. DESCRIPTION:This is a great introduction for those new to stand up and the ideal opportunity to unleash your comedy ‘mojo’. \n\n\n\n\nNeed a confidence boost?\n\n\n\nWant to write new comedy material and develop your performance style?\n\n\n\nPerforming stand up comedy\, presenting online or speaking in public for the first time?\n\n\n\nNervous about using humour?\n\n\n\nThen this workshop needs YOU!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nLynne Parker\, the founder of Funny Women\, has been running her comedy workshops since 2009 and we’ve witnessed the genesis of many comedy careers here at Funny Women through our Awards and community events. Hundreds of women have gained the confidence to perform on stage and in the boardroom. Now that ‘performances’ have expanded to both in person and online environments\, communication and presentation skills are a top priority. \n\n\n\nThis workshop covers: \n\n\n\n\nBuilding the confidence to perform\n\n\n\nDeveloping your personal style or ‘persona’\n\n\n\nIntroducing techniques to create new material\n\n\n\nAdvice on how to ‘up your game’\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nHere’s what past participants say: \n\n\n\n“Thanks for a fabulous experience I had a wonderful two hours!
