1. TOURS AND WIP SHOWS

SARAH KEYWORTH: MY EYES ARE UP HERE
Thurs 12 September @ 8:00 PM, The Y Theatre, Leicester
For those of you who are keen to catch up on Fringe 2024 mayhem, Sarah Keyworth should be high on your list. Keyworth is on a mega tour of their show all over the UK, so if you can’t catch them on this date, chances are there’ll be performing at a venue near you in 2024 or 2025, so keep your eyes peeled for tickets. Keyworth was also recently nominated for Best Show in Edinburgh 2024, so frankly, is smashing it.

AMY GLEDHILL: MAKE ME LOOK FIT ON THE POSTER
Tues-Sat 3-7 September @ 9:15 PM, Soho Theatre, London
Another must-see post Fringe 2024 (especially considering she won the award for Best Show, no biggie), beg borrow or a steal a ticket to Amy Gledhill’s show. Gledhill is a whopping 4 time nominated Edinburgh Award nominee, and previously performed sketch comedy as part of The Delightful Sausage duo. If you’d like Gledhill in your ears anytime, you can also listen to the podcast she co-hosts Northern News.

Shaparak Khorsandi: Scatterbrain
Mon-Tues 8-9 September @ 9:00 PM, Soho Theatre, London
Off the back of a recent ADHD diagnosis, stand up icon Shaparak Khorsandi looks at life through a new lens in the work in progress for her new show Scatterbrain, based on her memoir of the same name published last year. Khorsandi has written many fiction books and featured in many telly and radio shows including Shappi Talk. Definitely not one to miss.

Sikisa: SIKISA NEEDS YOU
Sun 29 September @ 6:30 PM, The Bill Murray, London
Sikisa brings her new WIP show to the Bill Murray this month, asking important questions like, what does everyone do to escape? Previously seen on Live at the Apollo, as a guest on the Off-Menu podcast, and tour support for comedy queens Cat Cohen and Judi Love, Sikisa is a certified laugh and a half.

MAISIE ADAM: WORK IN PROGRESS
Thurs 5 September @ 6:30 PM, The Bill Murray, London
From winning So You Think You’re Funny? in 2017, to more recently a Live at the Apollo alum and contestant on The Last Leg, Maisie Adam brings a work in progress show to The Bill Murray, before going on a mega tour of the UK with her show Appraisal. Frankly, you’d be silly to miss!

LOU SANDERS: LOU SANDERS & SONS – NEW MATERIAL

Silly and surrealist comic Lou Sanders performs a WIP at the Bill Murray this month after performing at the Fringe AND on the side of her mega UK tour: No Kissing In The Bingo Hall. As seen on Live at the Apollo and Taskmaster, Sanders is an absolute go-to.

Another act in the shows-you-must-catch-from-this-year’s-fringe includes Reuben Kaye, a queer, political, singer, writer and comedian, who often performs with a band, combines comedy and cabaret in the best way. Not to bang on about it, but Kaye was also nominated for Best Show at Edinburgh Fringe this year. Get yourself to Soho Theatre, pronto!
