We are delighted to be joining our partners The Comedy Crowd at a special networking event for comedy creators on Monday 24th October from 6.30pm in central London.
This event is all about connecting those of us who create comedy – that’s writers, performers, filmmakers, producers, directors, editors. The whole creative universe of people interested in developing and making comedy productions.
Comedy Crowd co-founder Omar Nasar says “This is a great opportunity to meet people with different skills to collaborate on exciting new comedy projects and get your ideas off the ground. So come along and you just might find your new writing partner, or a director/producer for your amazing script or maybe just that spark of inspiration to get you started or rekindle your passion for comedy.”
Talking about the event, Funny Women founder Lynne Parker who will be attending says, “We’ve been astounded by the level of creativity out there during the 2022 Awards season. We’re always looking to the future development of comedy so this is a valuable opportunity to network with other creators and explore your potential. “
At 7.30pm there will be a series of one-minute quick-fire open mic spots for you to tell the crowd what you are currently working on and the sort of help you might need.
