Over 20 years after it made its debut on our screens Sex and the City will be returning on HBO Max, though Samantha will not feature. Even though Kim Cattrall isn’t returning, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis will be back as Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte.
HBO Max has not revealed why Kim Cattrall wasn’t cast in the revival, titled And Just Like That (a nod to one of the show’s original catchphrases, not Tommy Cooper) but it’s no secret that the four are not as tight as portrayed in the show. The new series will consist of 10 half-hour episodes. Production will begin in late spring.
