Comedians Outdoors Getting COVID-Compliant

Funny Women

Slowly, slowly, comedians have been emerging from behind their complicated phone camera set-ups, green screens and podcast mics to perform live comedy. We don’t know how long this will last with the ever-changing Government guidelines that tell us to go out, but not out out, to not go to the office, but not not go to the office and to be in bed by 10pm. But, in the meantime, we have updated our series Comedians Indoors Getting Creative to reflect to current situation.

2019 Funny Women Awards finalist Jen Ives is hosting a socially distanced, new material comedy night on Monday 12th October at the Hoxton Cabin, featuring fellow Funny Women Awards finalist Charlie George and Alice India!

More than a dozen visually impaired comedians are coming together this October to create a spectacle for Eye Say, Eye Say, Eye Say! Offering 20/20 insights on their diverse experiences. The covert congregation will be livestreamed on Zoom as part of the Bloomsbury Festival. MC Georgie Morell will be on-hand to ensure the jokes keep coming from a 2 metre distance as Michael Henriques, Annette Davies, Stephen Portlock and Maverick offer unmissable stand-up. For tickets click here!

On 7th October Vix Leyton will be hosting another Live at Limehouse show, all socially distanced in a disinfected room with some brilliant performers including Sikisa and our very own Louise Leigh! For tickets click here!

If you are putting on a COVID compliant event you think we should know about then get in touch on Twitter!
