After much deliberation, we are delighted to announce the writers and filmmakers who have made it onto the 2019 Funny Women Awards Comedy Writing and Comedy Shorts longlists…

We received over 200 scripts from budding comedy writers across the UK, so the Funny Women Comedy Writing Award readers have been knee-deep (metaphorically, shout out to Dropbox) in scripts. It’s been tough but thanks to all our readers from across the comedy industry we can now announce the 25 scripts to make it to the longlist.
