The future is audio based and podcasts are taking over. Not quite the zombie apocalypse, just an enjoyable way to keep your ears busy while otherwise engaged, whether driving, riding the tube, jogging, or whatever you get up to. The choices you have around in the podcast market are endless.

The BFI have observed the growth of the podcast curiosity turned powerhouse and are launching Podstock, a one-day celebration of all things pod with a curated selection of the most entertaining live editions of popular podcasts, where you’ll be able to put faces to the voices in your head…or your ears.

With a variety of podcasts spanning discussions about movies, books, music and TV, we turn our eyes to the live recording of the Griefcast. Cariad Lloyd’s award-winning podcast about grief, previously reviewed here, has a special live edition at Podstock, with guests Emma Freud and Katherine Ryan.
