Tania Edwards wins Amused Moose Award

Tania Edwards has scooped this year’s Amused Moose Comedy Award at a ceremony last night in which all the nominees performed 10 minutes of their fringe shows at the final, hosted by Paul Sinha.

Tania’s show Not My Dog is a “a hilariously dark exploration of modern life and our need to (mis)represent it.” The show beat off competition from Anesti Danelis: Songs For A New World Order, Ken Cheng: Best Dad Ever, Look, It’s Tom Little, Alright?, Laura Lexx: Trying and Liam Withnail: Homeboy.

The separate award for Outstanding Fringe Show went to Police Cops In Space and stand-up Damian Clark was named People’s Champion.
