Anna Morris: It’s Got To Be Perfect

The Edinburgh Fringe doesn’t immediately spring to mind as the place to rehearse your wedding but the Star of ITV’s Bad Bridesmaid Anna Morris in the guise of Georgina the Bride, took it to the limit in It’s Got to be Perfect.  If you have recently found yourself clinking glasses of Prosecco as your heels slowly sink into the lawns of a stately home while making stilted conversation with a friend’s great aunt then you will appreciate this hilarious parody of the ‘wedding season’.

Georgina is absolutely dedicated to making her special day perfect. Which means she has a lot of rehearsals to get through if she is going to have the perfect day and impress her future mother-in-law. In fact she has now had 25 rehearsals in London and Edinburgh so she is ready for her big day.

Due to the unpredictable nature of wedding guests each rehearsal is a little bit different. This is, of course, the beauty of this hilarious interactive and improvised show. Georgina has planned everything to a T, she’s begun a wedding blog, vlog and set up a charity, Bride Aid to help other, less fortunate brides so that they too can afford such nuptial necessities such as an ice sculpture of their face.

Like many brides Georgina has become caught up in the whirlwind of wedding organisation and might have forgotten who she really is. Anna Morris has created a character that no-one thought could exist: a loveable bridezilla.

If you missed Georgina at the Voodoo Rooms, Edinburgh Fringe then you can still attend one last wedding rehearsal at the Museum of Comedy on Thursday 17th September. For more information click here!

Sara Barron: Enemies Closer

It’s perhaps bad form to start a review by commenting on what the comic is wearing but I reckon, in saying that I was slightly distracted for a minute by her incredible E.T. shirt, Sara Barron would think I am just being perceptive. (I need that shirt.)
