This week it’s been celebrity break up overload. Zayn and Perrie, Gwen and Gavin, but worst and most childhood destroyingly of all Kermit and Miss Piggy have announced the termination of their relationship.

In a statement released via Twitter Miss Piggy revealed our childhoods had pretty much been a lie, saying:

As stated the pair will continue to work together professionally on their new TV show. There is no word on the possibility of a reconciliation as yet, however we doubt anyone would use the break up of two muppets as a publicity stunt.

The Muppets return to our screens in a mockumentary this Autumn.
