Bisha Ali talks about what it means to her to be in the final of the Funny Women Awards:
"I started doing stand up in October 2012, and after a few gigs I knew I'd made the right decision. I fell in love with being on stage and hanging out with other weirdos who love comedy has been a dream.
"When I saw that entry for the Funny Women Awards had opened up I was apprehensive – competition terrifies me and I know I could potentially turn into a stress monster. But I entered anyway and it's been a great experience.
"Through the heats and the semi-finals I've had the chance to meet incredibly talented women of all flavours, and the competition challenges you to up your game at every stage."
