Could it be true? So many of our favourite female comedians, in a one-off January show?!

We have had the great pleasure of working with Refuge over the years at events such as the Funny Women Awards, helping to raise much needed funds and awareness for a charity dedicated to supporting women and children suffering domestic violence.

So it’s with huge excitement that we announce Raise A Laugh For Refuge, a glittering night of laughs with Benefit Cosmetics at King's Place, with an absolutely amazing line-up of female comedians, if we do say so ourselves!

And boy, what a line-up! The show will feature the likes of multi-award winning Bridget Christie, critically acclaimed star of Mock The Week Lucy Porter, Snog Marry Avoid’s Ellie Taylor, smash-hit stand-up Luisa Omielan, BBC New Comedy Award Winner Lucy Beaumontcelebrated Guardian and Stylist columnist Lucy Mangan, Edinburgh Festival favourite Pippa Evans, star of Man Down Roisin Conatyand ace stand-up and Twenty Twelve star Sara Pascoe

As if that’s not an amazing night in itself, every ticket holder gets a Benefit goodie bag worth over £25, and a free drink. The entire £20 ticket price is donated to Refuge.

Sandra Horley CBE, Chief Executive of Refuge says “The comedy gala will be a fantastic chance to watch some of the UK’s brightest talent, whilst helping Refuge raise awareness of domestic violence and much needed funds for our vital work. We urge all our supporters to save the date and join us for a great night out.”

So, an amazing line-up of hilarious comedians, a free drink and Benefit Cosmetics goody bag, plus all the £20 ticket price donated to Refuge so they can continue to provide life-saving and life-changing services? A win-win all round, we think.
