How Does It Work?

What kind of film are you looking for?
A 1-6 minute film that can take the form of anything comical, so long as it makes sense as a cohesive film. We're looking for more than just a filmed sketch, so it's a great opportunity to show us your creative flair and have fun!

Who can enter?
This award is open to female film makers. The film must be produced and devised by a woman/en, although male cast members are allowed.

What will you do with my film?
We'll broadcast all entries on our Funny Women Youtube channel, so feel free to encourage your mates to comment!

How is it judged?
Films are judged out of 5 for production, concept, delivery/performance, creativity, writing and overall funniness. The top 10 films are then put in front of a panel of top TV and film industry honchos, who chose one overall winner who is invited to the Funny Women Awards final in September.
