Shappi Khorsandi landed in Brisbane yesterday, ready to take part in this year’s ITV reality show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.
Having previously turned down the show due to her two children, Shappi arrived in Brisbane airport pretending to be unaware of the purpose of her journey saying to reporters: “What jungle? I have been to the Melbourne Comedy Festival many times and I am pleased to be back.”
Shappi still seemed prepared all the same, stating: “I am all good with creepy crawlies and not scared of anything.”
Though she may have the show confused with a more terrifying version of Love Island: “I am single so who knows. Maybe I will fall in love with a spider. My ideal man in there would be one who has snuck a mobile phone in.”
We’re sure Shappi will shake things up in the jungle, one of her fellow camp mates is Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson’s father Stanley, whose son Shappi has been critical of.
Shappi will be joined in the jungle by boxer Amir Khan, actors Jamie Lomas and Jenny McAlpine, singer Vanessa White, Made In Chelsea’s Georgina Toffolo, former footballer Dennis Wise, YouTube star Jack Maynard and footballer’s wife Rebekah Vardy.
I’m A Celebrity starts this Sunday 19th November at 9pm, on ITV.
