Give New Year’s Resolutions a Break

We’re 12 days into the 2017 and, not to be pessimistic but… some of those resolutions have probably slipped by now, if they ever really got going. For all of those thinking about starting a diet, Doorstop Productions have a great little comedy short for you.

The makers of this sketch, Gimme a Break said: “Men have it good, don’t they? While women are belittled for a little pudge, men are commended for their Dad Bods. (Leonardo, we’re looking at you!) It makes you say, Gimme a Break! If you’re sick of the double standards, this comedy sketch from director Stephanie Stender is for you. It has Kit Kats, body shaming vending machines, and axes. What more can a girl ask for?

So, if your New Year’s resolution of obtaining “the perfect beach bod” is getting you down, we’re with you. Instead, let’s break off a piece of that Kit Kat Bar, and work on our perfect Mom Bods.”

Enjoy!
